AFC Enterprises quarterly earnings revenue fall
SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) AFC Enterprises Inc. after the closing bell on Friday reported second-quarter net earnings of $4.9 million or 16 cents a share vs. $6.1 million or 22 cents a share for the same period a year ago. The Atlanta-based franchisor and operator of Popeyes Chicken & Biscuits posted revenue of $35.4 million vs. $38.8 million last year and said second-quarter domestic same-store sales were up 1.9%.
